Solamente hablo un poco de español. I only speak a little Spanish.

¿Cómo se llama Ud.? What is your name?

Me llamo Martín. My name is Martin.

Esta es Catalina. This is Catalina.

¿Cómo está Ud.? How are you?

¿Qué tal ha estado Ud.? How have you been?

Estoy bien, gracias. I am fine, thank you.

Mucho gusto en conocerlo. I am pleased to meet you.

No lo entiendo. I don't understand.

¿Qué dijo Ud.? What did you say?

Spanish Dialog

Sr. Clayton: Buenos días. ¿Habla Ud. inglés?
Good morning. Do you speak English?

El dependiente: Lo siento, pero no hablo inglés.
I am sorry, I do not speak English.

Sr. Clayton: Me temo que yo hable tan sólo un poco de español.
I am afraid I only speak a little Spanish.

El dependiente: Está bien. Lo comprendo.
That is okay. I understand you.

Sr. Clayton: Me pongo nervioso cuando hablo español.
I get nervous when I speak Spanish.
